Reaching out to help others, while sometimes difficult to fit into our busy schedules, can be spiritually uplifting and enriching.  It is truly an important part of the Christian life and as Pope St. John Paul II writes “Because of the one dignity flowing from Baptism,” every baptized person “shares a responsibility for the Church’s mission” (Christifideles Laici, no. 15).
